The Center for Homeopathy
provides a number of opportunities for persons to learn
about homeopathy.
The Foundations Course is a comprehensive, one-year
curriculum designed to provide a solid foundation in
the principles and practice of homeopathic medicine
. It is designed for both laypersons and healthcare professionals
seeking in-depth knowledge of homeopathy. Detailed
information about the course is found below.
For graduates of the Foundations course or people with
some back in homeopathy, the Level II Course offers the
student an opportunity to continue their studies and
develop clinical experience. This course has flexible
schedule, generally meeting monthly

Foundations in Homeopathy Course
The curriculum covers the following topics:
- The Law of Similars, the Minimum Dose and homeopathic
theory.
- Materia Medica — the study of acute and constitutional
remedies.
- Case Taking — learning to interview patients.
- Repertorization & Case Analysis — the study
of methods to choose remedies.
- Case Management — learning to assess patient
progress.
- Miasms — the theory of acquired and inherited
dispostions.
The course features an interactive classroom experience
in which participants engage in discussion and group
work with a focus on case histories and analyses. Home
assignments will be given between class meetings.
Requirements:
No previous study or experience in homeopathy is necessary.
Enthusiasm and earnestness are the only requirements.
On registration, students will be given a short list
of required and suggested texts.
Instructor:
Julian Jonas CCH, Lic. Ac. has 20 years of experience
as a practitioner and educator in natural healthcare.
A graduate of the Meiji College of Oriental Medicine
in Osaka, Japan, Jonas studied from many of the world’s
leading homeopathic educators after returning to the
United States.
